Making the Animatic
These animatics began with pencil drawings. I then imported them into After Effects, separated the characters from the background elements and moved them around with an idea of timing.
So to me...I see a picture not as a flat idea...but a box of assets.
Once I finished getting the timing down, I begin to add some color overlays to start setting up the mood for me.
